[00:01:06] As an entrepreneur, we have plenty to celebrate this season. No matter how big or small our wins are, I hope you’re grateful for what you’ve achieved.

[00:01:15] Whether you’re just starting your entrepreneurial journey or you’ve been in business for years, I’m sure you have achieved something you should be proud of. And it is so important to recognize that. I know it’s so difficult for me to do so for myself, so please celebrate your wins.

[00:02:03] And besides recognizing your own achievements, make sure you’re taking a break from work in the next couple of weeks. It’s so easy for us to get caught up in our businesses, but make sure to take some time for yourself and your loved ones. After all, your business should help you enjoy your life, not steal it.

[00:02:21] It’s important from the very beginning to build a business in a way that allows you to step away every once in a while without things falling away. It takes work and it takes a lot of effort and focus. But you can achieve it by hiring people you trust and outsourcing certain task. We’ve had so many guests talk about the importance of doing this, so listen to our guests. Figure that out. What works for you.

[00:02:44] As your business grows, you’ll need to have more authority and responsibility, so you need to decide where you can let things go and make them even more effective by stepping away. It’s so hard for me to do this, so really spend the effort on the time. You need to set up the systems that allow your team members to work without you.

[00:03:03] What’s more, if your business is taking over your life, then maybe you should think about some change. Because at the end of the day, your business should help you enjoy every aspect of your life, not take the joy out of you. And now is probably a really good time to reflect on not just our businesses, but our lives and where we are and what we’re doing to create that life we want.

[00:03:27] Because the entrepreneurial journey is great fun, but at the end of the day, it’s just a means of going through our lives and getting as much as we can from our efforts to enjoy our life.
